BUCS and Football America Enter Three-Year Partnership Agreement
Under the new three-year partnership, Football America will become the preferred sports equipment supplier for the BUCS American Football Programme. This agreement offers discounts to both students and institutions competing in BUCS competitions, making American football more accessible and affordable at the university level. Additionally, Football America will leverage this partnership to educate teams and institutions on the importance of using proper equipment to help prevent concussions and enhance player safety. We're excited for the years ahead, helping the sport grow in the UK and aligning with BUCS is the perfect way to do so.
In regards to the partnership, BUCS CEO, Will Roberts said: “We are delighted to welcome Football America as a partner for the next three years. In the 2024-2025 season, BUCS’ American Football programme will see 79 teams across 77 institutions, take part across the country. With over 4,000 students expected to participate, the programme continues to grow, offering more opportunities for university athletes to compete and develop their skills in the sport.
